He Gave Me Everything—Now I’m Trying to Save His Life

My name is Amardeep, and I am writing this with a heavy heart but a flicker of hope that somewhere out there, someone will hear our plea.

My father, Bansi Lal, is my entire world—my strength, my mentor, my everything. A man who has always stood tall for our family, worked tirelessly to ensure we never lacked anything, and kept smiling even in the face of hardship. But today, he lies in a hospital bed, fighting a brutal enemy—lung cancer—and I am desperate to save him.

He is currently undergoing treatment at Max Super Speciality Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi, where he is being cared for by some of the best doctors. They have given us a chance to fight—but only if we can afford the treatment.

The estimated cost of his complete treatment is ₹40 lakhs—an amount far beyond our financial reach. We have already exhausted our savings, borrowed from relatives, and done everything we could just to get through the initial stages. But we cannot go further alone.

I never imagined I would have to ask strangers for help. But right now, this is my only hope to save my father. I cannot watch the man who gave me life, values, and courage slowly fade away just because we don’t have enough money.

He still has so much to live for—his dreams, his family, the quiet evenings he loves, and most of all, the future he dreamed of watching us build.
